9V Battery
৳100
Standard 9V rectangular battery in the common 6F22 size, for powering small Arduino builds and 9V circuits away from mains.
Convenient and easy to connect, but modest in capacity — appropriate for demos and portable one-offs rather than anything that has to run continuously.
What you can build
- Portable Arduino demos through the barrel jack or VIN
- Standalone sensor and alarm circuits
- Anything needing a 9V input to a regulator
Not sure it will work? Test your circuit free in Tekko Sim — on your phone, in Bangla or English.

Questions about the 9V Battery
How long will it run an Arduino?
Not very long. A 9V cell holds modest capacity and the Arduino's linear regulator wastes the difference between 9V and 5V as heat. Expect hours rather than days, and use a USB power bank or a mains adapter for anything continuous.
Can I connect 9V straight to the Arduino's 5V pin?
No, that bypasses the regulator and will destroy the board. Feed it into the barrel jack or the VIN pin, both of which route through the regulator.
Can it power servos or motors?
Poorly. Motors draw current in spikes that a 9V cell cannot supply without its voltage collapsing, which resets the microcontroller. Use AA cells, a Li-ion pack or a mains supply for anything with a motor.
