৳90
Female-to-male Dupont jumper leads — a socket at one end and a pin at the other, for wiring a module's header pins into a breadboard.
The type you need whenever a sensor board has male pins soldered on and the other end has to reach a breadboard row or an Arduino socket.
What you can build
- Sensor and display modules into a breadboard
- Arduino header sockets out to module pins
- Any connection with a pin on one side and a hole on the other

Questions about the Jumper Wire Kit (F-M)
When do I need female-to-male rather than male-to-male?
Whenever one end has to slip over a pin. Most sensor modules ship with male header pins soldered on, so a female end is required there, while the other end still needs a pin for the breadboard.
Will the female end fit any header pin?
Any standard 2.54 mm square header pin, which covers effectively every hobby module and Arduino-style board.
Can I extend one by joining two together?
Yes, plug a male end into a female end. It works, though each join adds a point that can pull loose, so avoid long chains in anything that moves.
