5V Mini Submersible Water Pump
৳220
Small 5V pump that runs fully submerged, sized for automatic plant watering and desktop water features.
It is a submersible design, so it sits inside the tank rather than drawing water up to itself, and the water around it provides the cooling. Quiet, cheap, and the usual choice for a first irrigation project.
What you can build
- Automatic plant watering triggered by a soil moisture sensor
- Small fountains and aquarium circulation
- Hydroponic and drip-feed experiments

Questions about the 5V Mini Submersible Water Pump
Can the pump run dry?
No. It is cooled and lubricated by the water it sits in, and running it dry will burn it out quickly. Keep the inlet below the water line whenever it is powered.
Can I drive it directly from an Arduino pin?
No. The motor draws far more current than a GPIO pin can supply and will damage the board. Switch it through a transistor, a MOSFET or a relay, and fit a flyback diode across the motor terminals.
What flow rate does it give?
It depends heavily on head — the height the water has to be lifted — and flow drops sharply as the outlet rises above the pump. For plant watering with a short lift it is comfortably fast enough. Message us for the measured figures on the batch currently in stock.
