LCD 16x2 with I2C Module

৳280

Two lines of sixteen characters with an I2C backpack fitted, so it needs two signal pins instead of the usual six.

The PCF8574 backpack on the back does the parallel-to-I2C conversion, which frees up most of a microcontroller's pins. Contrast is set with the small potentiometer on the backpack.

What you can build

Questions about the LCD 16x2 with I2C Module

Why does my LCD show only white blocks, or nothing at all?
Nine times out of ten it is contrast. Turn the small potentiometer on the I2C backpack slowly until characters appear. If the backlight is lit but the screen stays blank after that, check the I2C address next.
How do I find the right I2C address?
Run an I2C scanner sketch and read the address it reports. These backpacks are almost always 0x27 or 0x3F, and the library has to be told the correct one.
Can I use it with a 3.3V ESP32?
Usually yes. Power the display from 5V and the ESP32's 3.3V I2C signals are generally high enough for the backpack to read. Make sure both boards share a ground.
